A Simulation & Stimulation session takes about 3 hours. It starts with a magnified scalp check and a conversation about your goals, moves on to planning and the session itself, and ends with a look in the mirror and a take-home aftercare list. You know the full price before anything starts.
Arrival and the scalp check
The first part of the visit is not treatment at all. Your consultant looks at your scalp under magnification and takes photos in consistent light, so you can see what we see. We look at where the hair looks thinner, how the scalp looks (oily, dry, flaky or calm) and whether anything suggests you should see a doctor first.
Then we talk. What bothers you most? The hairline, the crown, the part? What do you want to see in the mirror? This conversation shapes everything that follows, and it is also when you hear the price. If you decide not to go ahead, that is fine; there is no obligation.
Planning and the session
Once you agree to go ahead, the therapist maps the areas to work on and explains each stage before it begins. The simulation part concentrates on the look of density in the areas you chose. The stimulation part is scalp care focused on the scalp environment. You can ask questions at any point, and you can ask for a break.
Most people describe the session as comfortable. Bring something to read or listen to; three hours passes faster than you expect. We keep the room calm and the pace steady, because a rushed session helps nobody.
Before you leave
At the end you see the result in the mirror and in a photo taken in the same light as the first one. Your therapist goes through aftercare: when to wash, what to avoid for the first days, and when to come back for a review. You leave with this written down, in English, Chinese or Malay.
If anything feels unusual in the days after, such as redness that does not settle or itching that worries you, message the centre on WhatsApp. That is what we are there for.
Questions
Can I go home straight after?
Yes. Most people go about their day afterwards. You get written aftercare steps.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Come with clean, dry hair if you can, and tell us about any skin conditions, allergies or medication at the scalp check.
