Density SMP places fine dots between existing hairs so the scalp shows through less, which can make diffuse thinning look fuller while women keep their hair long. It does not grow hair. A consultation checks whether your pattern of thinning suits it.
How it works
Instead of recreating a shaved look, the practitioner adds soft shadow under longer hair, often along the parting and crown.
Who it suits
It tends to suit people with some remaining hair and visible scalp. Very sudden or patchy loss should be checked by a doctor first.
Combining care
Some women combine density SMP with scalp care. Your consultant can explain options without pressure.
Questions
Will people notice?
Done well, the effect is a softer parting, not obvious dots.
Can I still colour my hair?
Ask NPM about timing around dyeing.
